At our office, we give multiple options for how patients can take care of their care financially. There’s a couple in-house options. In fact, we have an in-house insurance plan that’s better than just about any insurance they’re going to be able to buy nowadays that can help with all their maintenance procedures and such.
We also offer multiple health care card financing options, most of them with zero interest for a longer period of time, that can help fit it into more of a monthly budget and help them understand too the financial investment is the least amount it’s going to be at that particular time and that typically things only go up in both amount of treatment has to be done or how invasive that treatment has to be or the cost of treatment the longer things go. So our dental membership program again is like insurance used to be maybe 50 years ago where every dollar you put in you get it back and it covers whatever your maintenance visits are, it covers that for a year’s time and it also then offers incentives like toward whitening or toward Invisalign or toward any other treatment there’s incentives toward that too. Anybody who thinks they can’t afford what they need, let’s come in and see what your needs truly are.
So let’s sit down, let’s discuss and let’s do a thorough exam and things may be better than you thought. If they’re what you think, then what’s our game plan? Sometimes we can prioritize things and do things in steps, sometimes we have to do a lot of things at once but either way we’ve got a few different health care card financing options, there’s things we can do to split up payments a few different ways in the office and again we offer a membership plan that a lot of patients will use to help them get caught up. Cosmetic patients that you know are concerned about the investment, again come in and let’s see maybe that investment is less than you’re imagining or maybe we need to involve less teeth than you think or maybe there’s a more cost effective way like just whitening the teeth or maybe just straighten the teeth which can be you know more cost effective than say veneers or crowns or things like that.
Individualize and customize that and then you know whatever the financial amount is that the investment we need to make, there’s options we have and we have four or five different options we’ll offer every patient in the office whether it be from you know our in-house plan or some outside zero interest financing that can make it fit into a monthly budget. We never want the dollar or the finances to be the reason someone doesn’t take care of themselves so we go out of our way to try to help them fit it into their budgets knowing that it’s going to be less investment today than it will be tomorrow or down the road because things don’t get better unfortunately they only get worse with time. Addressing things early typically means not only lower investment or cost but also less invasive meaning less loss of structure whether it be gums or teeth but also less time needed to address those things the earlier that they’re caught.
