That’s a newer, more modern type of dentistry now that’s become very prevalent because so many are getting diagnosed with that sleep apnea, especially some of the early-on sleep apnea. You know, CPAP is kind of the go-to standard care on the medicine side, but very few people seem to adapt well to a CPAP. But simple dental appliances that kind of reposition the lower jaw, let the tongue rest, and have more room and therefore open up the airway, not only can improve the sleep apnea but snoring minimizes or goes away completely, most times, and all those tend to be connected.
