Implants have come a long ways in such a high success rate. I work with a couple of great surgeons nearby that, you know, single teeth implants or sometimes multiple implants, depending on how many teeth are missing, is a great option. And it becomes part of you versus partials or dentures or things like that that are removable all the time and much more difficult to eat, much more difficult to function, too. As far as natural teeth, I mean, that’s always our number one choice is to fix, you know, what God gave you.
So, you know, teeth that may seem like hopeless to some, oftentimes, are able to be saved with, you know, things like crowns or bridges or veneers. And so, yeah, we can do a lot of things on the restorative side. There’s always a domino effect in the mouth. Like if one tooth has an infection, that infection can spread to the teeth next door. If one tooth is broken or has a cavity on it, that’s going to keep looking for new places to go. I mean, it’ll spread, you know, sideways and top and bottom. And so, you know, the quicker you can isolate, you know, a broken situation or a cavity situation, the better chance you have of it not spreading to other places, and I think that’s one of the things that patients don’t understand is that it’s not static, it’s not stagnant. Things, whether it be with gums or with teeth, are always looking for other places to infect or hurt.
